The Queensland Association of Quidditch (QAQ) is the governing body for quidditch in Queensland, established in 2015 to facilitate the growth of quidditch across the state. We aim to create an environment in which teams can thrive through regular competition, referee training, and inclusive events. We also strive to participate in the broader community, bringing quidditch to kids through our Kidditch program.

QAQ also manages the state quidditch team, the Thunderbirds, who represent Queensland in the annual Quidditch Australia State Shield.
